SSC MTS Eligibility
For the purpose of recruitment of nontechnical staff across several departments of government, the notification of Multi-Tasking Staff Examination has been declared by Staff Selection Commission. Different information regarding the pattern of exam as well as eligibility criteria is available in the recruitment notification. Before filing the online application form for SSC MTS Examination, all the wiling candidates must first go through the criteria of SSC MTS Eligibility that includes citizenship, age limit, and educational qualifications.
Eligibility criteria: SSC MTS

Criteria of age eligibility:
Under the eligibility standards, one of the most important concerns is age eligibility criteria. The age of the candidate applying for the exam must be between 18-25 years according to the official notification. However, relaxations in age have been provided as per the rules of government so as to defend the interest of minorities.
Criteria of Nationality Eligibility
The nationality of the aspirant is also taken into account in the eligibility criteria of SSC MTS Exam. At least one of the conditions given below must be satisfied by the aspirant willing to appear for the exam:
- Indian Citizen or
- Subject of Nepalor
- Subject of Bhutan
- A person migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Eastern Africa, Bhutan etc. who is of Indian Origin and has settled down in India permanently.
- A Tibetan refugee’s descendant who has came before 1st of January 1962 to India and since then, has settled down in India.

For the purpose of applying for the exam of SSC MTS, the criterion that is most important is educational qualification. Matriculation or its correspondent education must have been passed by the willing candidate from an acknowledged institute/board/university.
What if two out of three eligibility criteria are satisfied by the candidate:
The candidate is not eligible to apply for SSC MTS Exam in case any two of the above mentioned three eligibility criteria are satisfied by him/her. It has been mentioned specifically in the official notification that the candidate cannot appear for the exam in case he/she fails to observe any of the above mentioned eligibility criteria.
